AMD Ryzen 7 1800x Review
Best processor currently in the market. Pair this processor up with a ASUS or Gigabyte Motherboard and your will be happy. You can also water cool the processor using Corsair products or any of the additional ones you find on the market. If you air cool the processor then the AMD Ryzen heatsinks work very well and will get you into XFR frequency range no problem. Noctua heatsinks are great too and fit well.
Also, pair this up with a M.2 rather than an SSD. Less cables and depending on the brand you get it can be faster!!! When selecting memory pay more for DIMMs that have better timings and use all 4 slots of memory. Corsair, G.Skill all work great.
Price for Performance is still one of AMD's strong points.
For a multitude of benchmark tests the $499 1800X is able to match or beat a $1049 i7-6900K. That directly translates to a 2x in price/performance. Can't wait to see how updates improve the functionality even further.
